Below are some tips on what you may want to include on your trip
WHAT TO BRING TO OAK GROVE

The staff of Oak Grove looks forward to having you visit Southwest Louisiana during this hunting season. Please plan to arrive at the camp no earlier than 4 p.m. the afternoon before your first hunt.
Below is a list of items that you may need to make your experience at Oak Grove a great one.

Semi-Automatic/Pump Shotgun (please note that the use of double or over/under shotguns is not allowed)

Rubber knee boots or short rubber boots; waders are generally not necessary.

Your personal items
We highly recommend that you get all necessary hunting licenses prior to your arrival. Due to Hurricane Laura and Delta the communications infrastructure in Southwest Louisiana is still not back to normal. Shells are provided at the camp in 12ga and 20ga.
ARRIVAL TO OAK GROVE HUNTING CLUB
We ask that no guest arrive on the Oak Grove Property prior to 4:00 p.m. We appreciate you giving our staff adequate time to prepare the camp from the group prior.

As you arrive at the camp, you will be asked to fill out our guest log (below) with your preferences for how you would like your birds prepared, breasted or whole, for your journey home.
When the hunt is complete, your birds will be packed per your preference in a complimentary soft-sided Oak Grove cooler for you to take home.

TIPPING
Your host will explain the camp’s procedure for tipping guides and wait staff.
ROOM ASSIGNMENTS
Your host will have assigned rooms for all guests.
FOOD SERVICE
Please notify your host regarding any dietary requirements or food allergies.
OAK GROVE MERCHANDISE
Please ask your host for available Oak Grove items that are for sale.

CAMP ATTIRE
The attire at Oak Grove is casual and informal. Khakis and jeans are appropriate for members and guests alike.
